Your servers named service may start to go unresponsive with the following error logs:

[root@server ~]# service named restart
Stopping named: …………………………………….[FAILED]
Starting named: named: already running                     [FAILED]

rndc: connect failed: connection refused

    • Hi ,

      Try restarting the network service.
      $ service network restart
      $ /etc/init.d/network restart
